Disclaimer

Mending Broken Wings is a community-based nonprofit organization providing peer advocacy, education, home safety preparation, and resource navigation for individuals and families navigating Child Protective Services (CPS) and Friend of the Court (FOC) involvement.

Mending Broken Wings is not a law firm, not a licensed mental health provider, not a government agency, and not a representative of CPS, FOC, or the judiciary. We Work along side the courts for a smooth understanding. We are a Mandated Reporting Agency.

Services provided do not constitute legal advice, clinical diagnosis, therapy, or professional counseling. No specific outcomes in CPS, court, or administrative proceedings are guaranteed.

Advocates do not interfere with investigations, safety plans, court orders, or placement decisions. We just help our clients navigate the complex systems when emotions are high.

Participation in services is voluntary and may be discontinued by either party at any time.
